In 2004 I met my future wife Laura. I mean, we knew each other but we didn't know each other. Make sense? Laura and I grew up in the same area and we knew each other through area youth group activities. I am convinced that if we had dated at any time in high school there is no way Laura would have dated, let alone marry, me after college. I am thankful she stayed away 'til college. October 2005 we tied the knot and I've been growing happier each and every day since then.

They say the greatest blessings are the ones you don't expect. I don't know who "they" are, but they are right. Reese came to us earlier than planned in April 2007 and I wouldn't ask for it to be any other way. I love that girl. She is funny, caring, wild and has such a BIG heart for a 3 year old. I am often reminded of the greatest things we have here on Earth through her actions. We are truly blessed by Ro.
In the midst of pursuing what Laura and I believed to be a calling to adopt a child, we found out we were going to be having sweet Lucy join us. Lucy is just that: sweet. Our little girl is quiet, relaxed and gentle already. She sleeps. Alot. She loves her mommy sooooo much and her big sis is already a hero to her.
